100% of Profits go to Scholarships that Support Business and Education for Purpose
The Bronconess Project at Western Michigan University strives to create business leaders who embrace business and learning with purpose. 100% of the profits from Bronconess provide scholarships to pursue world-class experiential learning opportunities.

Testimonials
Mia Stimpson-Bubbly Sales Associate
“Joining the Bronconess sales team completely changed my perspective on what hands-on learning at WMU truly looks like. As a Sales Associate, I’ve had the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and into the community, pitching to local retailers like Meijer and Harding’s while managing real accounts that directly contribute to our brand’s growth. What makes this experience even more unique is that Bronconess is entirely student-run. Our team collaborates across every aspect of the business, giving us a full, real-world view of what it takes to build and sustain a brand. Working alongside other driven students has pushed me to grow not only as a salesperson but as a teammate and leader. Every role we take on ties back to a larger purpose. When I speak with purchasing managers, I’m not just selling a bottle of our Bubblys; I’m sharing our mission. Knowing that 100% of our profits go back into scholarships for fellow students adds a deeper level of pride and responsibility. Being part of this team has shown me that sales isn’t just about transactions; it’s about collaboration, building relationships, and creating a meaningful impact together”
Landon Glenn-Research & Development and Finance
“Joining an already established, student-led wine brand gave me the unique opportunity to bring classroom concepts to life in a real business environment. Through my work in finance and R&D, I’ve been able to contribute to strategic decisions that directly influence performance and growth. This experience has not only strengthened my ability to support operations and conduct meaningful market research, but also deepened my understanding of how cross-functional teams drive a brand forward.”
Zoe Hall- Chief of Events
“Being part of Bronconess and working on events has been one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had. I’ve had the chance to plan events alongside St. Julian Winery, which has given me a real look into how partnerships and experiences can help grow a brand and reach more people. Seeing everything come together, from the planning to the actual event, and watching people genuinely enjoy it is so rewarding. What makes it even more special is knowing that everything we do supports scholarships for other students. It gives the work a deeper purpose and makes every event feel like it’s part of something bigger. This experience has shown me how impactful it can be to create something people connect with, and it’s something I’m really proud to be a part of!!”
